Spring tour to coincide with second album...

STEREOPHONICS have announced details of a new single and a major UK tour in April.

The new single, ‘Just Looking’, released on 22nd February, is the follow-up to last year’s ‘The Bartender And The Thief’, which got to Number Three in the charts. Both singles are taken from the band’s forthcoming album ‘Performance And Cocktails’, out on March 8 on V2.

The single is backed by two more new tracks ‘Postmen Do Not Great Movie Heroes Make’ and ‘Sunny Afternoon’, the Stereophonics‘ cover of The Kinks‘ 1966 hit.

The band’s spring tour, meanwhile, takes in Newcastle University Of Northumbria (April 18), Leeds Town & Country Club (19), Sheffield Octagon (20), Wolverhampton Civic Hall (22), Leicester De Montfort Hall (23), Manchester Apollo (21), Margate Winter Gardens (26), Southampton Guidhall (27), Plymouth Pavilions (28), Reading Rivermead (30) and London Brixton Academy (May 1).
