STEREOPHONICS drummer STUART CABLE has fathered a baby boy.
A spokesperson for Cable contacted NME.COM this morning (February 27) to announce that the boy, named Cian, was born on February 16 at 9pm.
Both Cian and Cable’s wife Nichola are said to be healthy.
Stereophonics, who have just completed an acoustic tour of the US without Cable, who remained in Wales for the birth, are set to tour the UK to promote their new single ‘Mr Writer’, released on March 19 via V2.
Their sold-out tour calls at: Glasgow Concert Hall (March 15)
Aberdeen Music Hall (16)
Liverpool Royal Court (18)
Derby Assembly Rooms (19)
Belfast Ulster Hall (21)
Dublin Olympia (22)
Cardiff St David’s Hall (25)
London Shepherds Bush Empire (26)
The band’s new album ‘Just Enough Education To Perform’ is released on April 9, also through V2.
