Stereophonics reveal new single ‘I Wanna Get Lost With You’ – watch

Band release new album 'Keep The Village Alive' on September 11

Stereophonics have revealed new single ‘I Wanna Get Lost With You’, the latest taste of their upcoming ninth album.

‘I Wanna Get Lost With You’ will be available from July 21 and can be streamed below. It precedes the band’s new album ‘Keep The Village Alive’, due out on September via the band’s own Stylus Records label through Ignition Records.

Speaking about the new single, frontman Kelly Jones says the song “is about wanting to lose yourself personally, and lose yourself with somebody, and then just literally get out there.”

In March, Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood teamed up live with the Stereophonics at their Royal Albert Hall gig in London.

The Welsh band were in the capital playing a Teenage Cancer Trust show, with Wood joining the group for a cover of Faces track ‘Ooh La La’, the original of which featured a lead vocal by Wood, as well as their cover of Mike d’Abo’s ‘Handbags And Gladrags’, a hit for the band in 2001.

Stereophonics will play V Festival this summer, along with Calvin Harris, Sam Smith, Kasabian and more. The festival runs simultaneously in Weston Park, Staffordshire and Hylands Park, Essex between August 22-23.
