The band will cover ’I Wanna Be Your Dog’ on their upcoming single…

STEREOPHONICS will take on IGGY POP on their new single.

The band are to cover [a][/a]’ classic track ’I Wanna Be Your Dog’ on the B-side to their upcoming release ’Superman’, due out on June 13.

CD1 of ’Superman’ will feature the title track plus ’Outside’, whilst CD2 will include ’I Wanna Be Your Dog’, a live version of ’Superman’ recorded in Milan plus ’The Making of the ’Superman’ Video’.


The DVD edition of the single will boast a video diary taking you on the road with Stereophonics, a lyrics page and a photo gallery.

’Outside’ will feature on the flipside to the limited edition coloured 7” vinyl single, which will be released the following week on June 20.

Stereophonics are currently on a sold out club our of the US and will kick off their headlining trek of the UK and Ireland on September 3 in Dublin.
