Stevie Nicks reveals she is working on new album ’24 Karat Gold’

The LP will be a collection of lost and bootlegged tracks

Stevie Nicks has revealed that she is currently recording a new album, which is tentatively titled ’24 Karat Gold: Songs From the Vault’.

According to Billboard, the album will be a collection of tracks that were written throughout the singer’s career but have never been formally released. Each track has been re-recorded.

A spokesperson for Nicks said the Fleetwood Mac singer is aiming to release the album in October.

Nicks recently began working on the LP in Nashville and will continue to work on it when she returns home to Los Angeles. It is, she said, the “fastest I have ever recorded”, having recorded 18 tracks in just three weeks.

Earlier this month, Fleetwood Mac’s Lindsey Buckingham revealed that the band have recorded eight new songs together. The new recordings feature Christine McVie, who announced she was rejoining the band in January. Nicks had not taken part in these sessions.
