Could Stormzy be set to perform at the Royal Wedding?

The odds are in on Harry and Meghan's big day

Stormzy has been tipped to perform at the upcoming Royal Wedding, after Prince Harry revealed that he is a fan of the grime superstar.

As The Daily Star report, the ‘Gang Sings & Prayer’ rapper has been given odds of just 5-1 of performing at Windsor Castle on the big day by Ladbrokes – landing him alongside Elton John and the Foo Fighters, also tipped at 5-1.

Back in November 2017, Stormzy offered to perform at the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, “if I get an invite”.

Other performers who are keen to serenade the couple on their big day include Sam Smith, who has said of the couple: “I’m obsessed. I want to sing at the wedding. Oh my God I’d love to. I’d have to wear a dress and a crown though.”

At last week’s BRIT Awards, Stormzy lashed out at Prime Minister Theresa May over her handling of the Grenfell Tower tragedy, prompting the government to issue a response the following day.

He has since shared a petition on Twitter, urging May to take action in the Grenfell Tower inquiry.

The grime MC beat Ed Sheeran, Liam Gallagher, Loyle Carner and Rag’n’Bone Man to pick up his first award, later winning the biggest award of the night despite tough competition from Dua Lipa and Sheeran.

With rain falling, Stormzy called out May and the Mail during his performance, delivering the lyrics in a new freestyle, “Theresa May, where’s the money for Grenfell? / What you thought we just forgot about Grenfell?” and suggesting that the Daily Mail “suck my dick”.
