STREET(S) SPIRIT!

Well, says Mike Skinner, anything Eminem can do...

Streets‘ MIKE SKINNER has revealed he may follow US rap superstar EMINEM into acting.

After returning from a series of US shows and TV appearances, Skinner spoke to Muzik magazine about the follow-up to 2002’s Mercury Music Prize-nominated ‘Original Pirate Material’.

He joked: “People want to listen to what I’m doing. And probably next year they won’t. There is no second LP! It’s all over, finished. I’m making a film!”

Skinner is set to play the festival circuit this summer with appearances at Homelands (May 24), Glastonbury (June 29), T In The Park (July 12-13) and The Carling Weekend: Reading and Leeds festivals (August 22-24).
