The follow-up to 99's 'Head Music' is finished...

Suede have finally completed recording their new album.

The record, the long-awaited follow-up to 1999’s ‘Head Music’ will be released in September, following final mastering and sequencing at the start of May.

Given the joke working title ‘Subject To Nicotine Stains’, the album has been produced by Smiths and Blur producer Stephen Street. The first single is rumoured to be titled ‘Positivity’, although this is currently unconfirmed.

The band are now rehearsing for live dates, and are considering a number of offers for festival appearances and tours.

Following the closure of their label Nude, Suede have signed to Epic records, according to the band’s official website,
