Sufjan Stevens covered Drake‘s recent hit ‘Hotline Bling’ during his show in Jersey City on Saturday night (October 31).
Stevens was performing a gig at the city’s Loew’s Jersey Theatre when he was joined onstage by R&B singer Gallant for the cover rendition, set to a backdrop featuring projections of Drake’s face. Watch below.
‘Hotline Bling’ has recently been sang by Mike Tyson and parodied by Mr Bean.
Sufjan Stevens released his latest record ‘Carrie & Lowell’ through his own Asthmatic Kitty Records in March. It’s the follow up to Stevens’ last studio album ‘The Age Of Adz’, released in 2010.
