Keisha Buchanan, Mutya Buena and Siobhan Donaghy are apparently working on brand new material together.
The founding line-up of the Sugababes are rumoured to be demoing a selection of brand new songs, in order to test the waters when it comes to officially getting back together as a band.
Wot You Got via Digital Spy says that the original members “haven’t signed anything official yet, but they have been demoing some new songs to see if they can re-capture that magic of their debut album”, adding: “If they get that right, then they’ll sign on the dotted lines.”
Last month, current Sugababes member Amelle Berrabah – pictured right – was found guilty of assaulting a girl at a nightclub in London.
The star appeared in the City Of Westminster Magistrates’ Court to face a common assault charge after a run-in with Danielle Dodoo at Alto, the nightclub owned by Berrabah‘s boyfriend Tom Benn. She was given a conditional discharge and ordered to pay £250 compensation.
After the ruling, Berrabah issued a public apology to her fans. She said: “Following my conviction for assault, I would like to offer my unreserved apologies to the band’s fans, my bandmates, our record label and my family.”
This was not the first time she has found herself in court. Last year the singer was charged with drink driving.
