SUPER FURRY ANIMALS have written over 40 songs for the “simple” follow-up to ‘RINGS AROUND THE WORLD’.
The Welsh group are currently preparing to go to the US in support of their current album.
Speaking to MTV news in the US, singer Gruff Rhys said that work has already started on new material, which he hopes won’t be as complex as ‘Rings Around The World’.
He commented: “Because the last record took so long, this time we want to make a quite simple record. We’ve already got 44 new songs that are all demoed, and they’re all pretty diverse. So we’ll start the album once we decide what kind of record we want to make.”
