are to make their first live performance of 2003 as part of a Stephen Malkmus-curated event in April.
The band – who are currently mixing their sixth studio album in South Wales – will play at London’s Royal Festival Hall on April 19. They are expected to premiere material from the as-yet-untitled record, set for release in July, at the show, their first in the UK since their [url=]New Order support slot at London Finsbury Park last June.
NME.COM can reveal the whole event will take place over two days, April 18-19, with Stephen Malkmus and his band The Jicks performing on both nights on a bill he has selected personally. Former Blur guitarist Graham Coxon will play on the 18th, and more names for both nights will be announced in the coming weeks.
