Travis, EMBRACE, Super Furry Animals and ASH are among the acts to star on the NME Carling Premier Live Shows, which start broadcasting on Channel Four on April 5 at 12.15am.

The six 30 minute shows will feature highlights of last month’s NME Premier Shows at the London WC1 Astoria – plus some classic performances from NME Premier Shows in previous years. There’ll also be interviews with some of the stars who were on the stage – as well as some of those in the audience!

The NME Carling Premier Live Shows are part of Channel Four’s 4Music programme strand and the first three shows will be on every week from April 5 onwards in a late Tuesday night/early Wednesday morning slot.

The first three programmes also feature performances from Elastica, Les Rythmes Digitales, Beta Band, Shack, Terris, Muse, Bentley Rhythm Ace, Asian Dub Foundation and Coldplay.

The following three shows, the broadcasting times of which have yet to be confirmed, will feature Spiritualized, Sigur Ros, Campag Velocet, Angelica, Muse, Mansun, A, Ooberman, Mercury Rev, Feeder and Doves.
