Super Furry Animals to perform live at Wales international football match

The Welsh band will open their country's game against Belgium on Friday (June 12)

Super Furry Animals will open the Wales national football team’s scheduled game this week with a live performance.

The Welsh Football Association have announced that Cardiff-based band will provide support for their country’s European qualifier match against Belgium on Friday (June 12) at the Cardiff City Stadium.

Fans are able to decide which song the band will perform live – with the choices of ‘Hello Sunshine’, ‘Fire In My Heart’ and ‘God! Show Me Magic’ being voted for in an online poll. Vote here and listen to the tracks in question below.

Super Furry Animals recently reformed for a series of live dates, also reissuing their Welsh-language album ‘Mwng’ on May 1.
