Sweetener: Ariana Grande adds more dates to 2019 UK and Ireland arena tour

Get ready...

Ariana Grande has added more dates to the UK and Ireland leg of her ‘Sweetener’ arena tour next summer.

The ‘Thank U Next’ singer will kick off a string of shows in London next August before returning a month later for subsequent dates in Birmingham, Glasgow, Sheffield and Dublin. Check out the dates in full below and buy tickets here.

Today (December 21) the pop star announced an additional London O2 Arena date for August 20, 2019.

She will also perform an extra date in Birmingham on September 15, 2019 and Dublin on September 23, 2019.

AUGUST

17 – London, O2 Arena
19 – London, O2 Arena
20 – London, O2 Arena

SEPTEMBER

14 – Birmingham, Arena
15 – Birmingham, Arena
17 – Glasgow, SSE Hydro
19 – Sheffield, FlyDSA Arena
22 – Dublin, 3Arena
23 – Dublin, 3Arena

Although a Manchester show is not yet included in the dates, the singer yesterday confirmed that special plans were underway for her return after 22 people were killed by a suicide bomber following her show at the venue in May 2017.

The singer wrote in an Instagram post: “Manchester is not on this initial list because we are planning a special show. We need a bit more time getting things together before we can announce that date but we are of course coming and we love you.”

It’s also not known how the concert will differ from the rest of the tour shows. Two weeks after the Manchester Arena atrocity in May 2017, Grande hosted a benefit concert in memory of the victims, which saw Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Liam Gallagher, and more play Manchester’s Old Trafford cricket stadium.

In other news, earlier this month Grande released the follow-up to ‘thank u, next’ with ‘Imagine’.
