The former Gunner joins Tom Morello onstage in Austin
The guitarist joined Rage Against The Machine’s Tom Morello onstage at The Parish where he was billed under ‘Tom Morello And Special Guests’.
Morello delighted the crowd with a performance of Rage Against The Machine’s ‘Guerilla Radio’ which he dedicated to all those who were unable to get tickets for the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival where the band will reunite in April.
Perry Farrell also joined the all-star line-up for renditions of two of Jane’s Addiction’s tracks ‘Mountain Song’ and ‘Ain’t No Right’.
Primus bassist Lee Claypool was also on hand to play, as were singer-songwriter Alexi Murdoch, former Extreme guitarist Nuno Bettencourt and actor Breckin Meyer, who played drums.
The collective concluded the show with a stellar performance of Woody Guthrie’s ‘This Land Is Your Land’.
Rage Against The Machine will play the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival on April 29.
