Hotly-tipped New Yorkers perform on hottest day
New York buzz-band The Virgins performed a chilled out afternoon set today (March 14) at SXSW in Austin.
The hotly-tipped quartet took to the stage at the Palm Door venue, as the temperature climbed to the nineties on what has been the hottest day of the festival so far this year.
Opening with Shes Expensive the band played a snappy six-song set, including Radio Christiane, Private Affair and Rich Girls.
The band are currently gearing up for the release of their debut album, which is slated for an April release.
The Virgins played:
One Week Of Danger
Meanwhile, the band will be the final band to play the three-day NME extravaganza tomorrow (March 14) at Wave.
