Does It Offend You, Yeah? in surprise collaboration at SXSW

A certain indie star wants to 'make out' with the Reading ravers

Does It Offend You, Yeah? rocked a surprise collaboration with Joe Lean at SXSW today (March 12).

Reading’s favourite neo-ravers were playing the Fader Fort this afternoon, when the frontman of indie darlings Joe Lean and the Jing Jang Jong briefly joined their ranks as a guest vocalist.

Lean was getting into the lively spirit of DIOY,Y? by dancing at the very front for the whole of the set.

As their performance approached its climax, James Rushent passed the microphone to his UK indie comrade for the chorus of ‘Let’s Make Out’, and Lean enthusiastically belted out the lyrics.

Joe Lean and the Jing Jang Jong make their own appearance at the Fader Fort tomorrow, one of a number of SXSW appearances this week.

Today’s action at the VIP venue was rounded off by Portland electronic artist YACHT, aka Jona Bechtolt.
