System Of A Down‘s anti-war video for their track ‘BOOM!’ was aired just once on MTV in the UK last week, before it was pulled – but now NME.COM can bring you an exclusive stream of the clip.
Directed by controversial Oscar winner Michael Moore, the film ran into trouble with the censors because it features animations of Tony Blair, George W Bush, Saddam Hussein and Osama Bin Laden sailing through the sky on rockets!
Footage from the anti-war rallies which took place in London, and more than 350 other cities around the world on February 15 is also included.
“For us it was important to show the movement and not just put out a song. The point was for us to show all of these beautiful people out on the streets making their voices heard. That’s really not being covered well by the media, and it deserves that attention,” said System Of A Down frontman Serj Tankian.
