System Of A Down‘s eagerly anticipated anti-war video for ‘BOOM!’ will get its television premiere on MTV2 this evening (March 18).

The film features footage from the anti-war rallies which took place in London, and more than 350 other cities around the world. on February 15.
It also includes animations of British Prime Minister Tony Blair, US President George W Bush, Saddam Hussein and Osama Bin Laden riding through the sky on rockets.
System Of A Down frontman Serj Tankian told MTV.COM that he wanted the video to highlight the scale of the anti-war movement.
He said: “For us it was important to show the movement and not just put out a song. The point was for us to show all of these beautiful people out on the streets making their voices heard. That’s really not being covered well by the media, and it deserves that attention.”
The track ‘Boom!’ appears on the band’s 2002 outtakes compilation ‘Steal This Album’.
