Weather forecast improves for this weekend’s T In The Park

Today (July 6) and Sunday (July 8) are set to be mostly dry, but it looks like heavy rain tomorrow (July 7)

The weather forecast for this weekend’s T In The Park festival has improved dramatically from earlier forecasts, but the festival is still likely to be hit by rain.

The festival takes place in Balado near Kinross and, according to the Met Office, it will be dry for most of today (July 6) and Sunday (July 8), but quite wet tomorrow (July 7).

It is currently dry on site and no rain is expected until tonight, meaning Snow Patrol may have a slightly-rain affected set, but nothing too severe.

Light rain is then set to fall throughout the night, with the showers turning heavy in the early morning. It is then expected to rain heavily throughout tomorrow, meaning The Stone Roses are set to play to quite a damp crowd.

Sunday is set to be much better, with light rain only set to hit in the early hours of the morning and briefly in late evening. Other than that it is set to be overcast, with punters watching the likes of Nicki Minaj and Kasabian enjoying temperatures of around 13 degrees.
