Take That‘s Gary Barlow surprised shoppers in Bristol yesterday (May 30) with an impromptu concert disguised as himself.
The singer wore a paper Gary Barlow mask as he began playing ‘Could It Be Magic’ on a piano at Cabot Circus shopping centre. You can watch footage below.
Shoppers watching the mystery performer were surprised when he revealed his true identity and sang the hit song.
Hundreds of people had soon gathered to watch the former X Factor judge at the shopping centre, with many posting videos and photographs of the performance on social media.
Barlow previously made a surprise appearance at a fan’s wedding last year.
He performed at the wedding of ‘super fan’ Danielle Jones in Bracknell, Berkshire in April 2015, performing Take That’s ‘A Million Love Songs’ for the bride and her groom Darrel.
The singer had initially told Danielle that he was unable to perform at her wedding, but secretly co-ordinated with one of her bridesmaids to organise the surprise.
Meanwhile, Robbie Williams was recently reported to be re-joining Take That and working on new material for the band.
The ‘Let Me Entertain You’ singer previously quit the band twice – first in 1995, then again in 2014. He’s thought to be working on material for a best of album, ahead of the band’s 25th anniversary celebrations.
The Sun claims that Robbie will join the remaining Take That members, Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald in 2017. Although, former member Jason Orange is not thought to be making a return to the limelight.
