Selling agents struggling to cope as 2011 tour goes on sale
Take That have given an official update about sales for their forthcoming European tour this morning (October 29) after selling agents struggled to cope with demand when tickets became available to the public at 9am (BST) this morning (October 29).
Some ticketing sites linked through Takethat.com have been struggling to handle the amount of people logging on, but the band’s spokespeople have said that they are “confident” all enquiries will be dealt with.
“Due to totally unprecedented demand this morning, all ticket agents have struggled to cope with the number of people logging on to try and buy Take That tickets,” they said.
They added: “The technology available has not been able to keep up with demand. However, all ticket agents are confident they will be able to process all enquiries so are asking fans to keep trying.”
