A stage invader has been charged after a recent incident at a Taylor Swift concert over the weekend.
The singer performed in San Diego on Saturday (August 29) with TMZ reporting that an individual named Christian Ewing, 26, snuck into the concert and made it to the stage before being tackled by security guards.
With a fight ensuing, the report claims that a security guard broke his ribs in the clash, with Ewing later charged with misdemeanour battery and obstruction. He has had his bail set at $35,000 (£22,000).

The following night (August 30), Taylor Swift presented Kanye West with the Video Vanguard award at the MTV Video Music Awards.
Both Kanye and Taylor made reference to their infamous falling out at the 2009 VMAs. “I’mma let you finish, but Kanye West has had one of the greatest careers of all time,” Swift joked, while West thanked Swift for “being so gracious” and presenting him with the award.
Meanwhile, Miley Cyrus has stated that she doesn’t wish to be part of Taylor Swift’s so-called “squad”.
The singer, who hosted the MTV VMAs over the weekend, discussed her counterpart’s association with a plethora of “musicians, actresses, models [and] entrepreneurs” in an interview with The New York Times.
“I’m not trying to be in the squad,” Cyrus said. “None of my friends are famous and not because of any other reason than I just like real people who are living real lives, because I’m inspired by them.”
Cyrus continued to criticise the carefully constructed image of celebrity culture. “I put naked pictures on my Instagram – I don’t care,” she added. “It’s not interesting any more to see me like that.”
