Taylor Swift joined by Avril Lavigne to sing ‘Complicated’ at San Diego concert – watch

The live team-up followed recent rumours of bad blood between the pair

Avril Lavigne joined Taylor Swift onstage at the latter singer’s concert in San Diego on Saturday night (August 29).

Swift has performed with a huge number of special guests at recent concerts, including Beck and St Vincent, Alanis Morissette and even Friends actress Lisa Kudrow.

On Saturday, Swift invited Lavigne onstage following recent rumours of bad blood between the pair. The duo sang Lavigne’s 2002 hit ‘Complicated’. Watch footage below.

Swift later tweeted of the team-up: “So incredible sharing the stage with @AvrilLavigne! ‘Complicated’ is such a brilliant pop song and I just love her.”

Lavigne added on Instagram: “Such a Pleasure to perform “Complicated” tonight with @taylorswift on her #1989 world tour! She ROCKS”.

Meanwhile, Ryan Adams has told fans his full cover album of Taylor Swift’s ‘1989’ is at the ‘finish line’ and will be mixed and mastered this week.

Adams announced that he would be recording the cover version at the start of August. He has documented his progress via social media, posting various behind the scenes video clips and photos.

On Tuesday (August 25), Adams posted a clip of 1989 track ‘This Love’ alongside the caption “Finish Line.” At the start of the week he also confirmed the news fans had been waiting for, writing “The @taylorswift13 #1989 update people been asking for is, it will have a final mix and master this week. : ) VSOON!”
