Video to premiere tonight at the Billboard Music Awards
Taylor Swift has revealed yet another star name to feature in her forthcoming ‘Bad Blood’ music video – singer and actress Selena Gomez.
The Spring Breakers star joins Ellie Goulding, Kendrick Lamar, Lena Dunham, Hayley Williams and others to appear in the video. As was the case with the rest of her cast, Swift announced the news by posting a movie-style poster of Gomez in costume via social media.
‘Bad Blood’ is the fourth single from Swift’s ‘1989’ album and the video will be premiere tonight at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards.
Earlier this month, Swift revealed that she wrote the song ‘You Are In Love’ after Girls creator and star Lena Dunham opened up about her relationship with Bleachers singer Jack Antonoff.
Rookie founder Tavi Gevinson interviewed Swift for Elle magazine’s “Women In Music” issue and asked the singer about the song’s lyric “You’re my best friend”. Swift replied: “I’ve never had that, so I wrote that song about things that Lena [Dunham] has told me about her and Jack [Antonoff]. That’s just basically stuff she’s told me. And I think that that kind of relationship – God, it sounds like it would just be so beautiful –would also be hard. It would also be mundane at times.”
