Taylor Swift has addressed the internet hackers who claim to have nude pictures of her by telling them they “have nothing” and to “have fun photoshopping”.
The singer made the comments after it emerged that her Twitter and Instagram accounts had been hacked this morning. A number of unusual messages were sent out from the pop star’s account, including two telling her 71 million followers to follow @lizzard and @veriuser (account now suspended), the hackers who claim to have ties with a group called the Lizard Squad.
As TMZ reports, the Lizard Squad, who now claim to have nude pictures of Swift, say they hacked Sony Playstation and Xbox Live last year and purport to be behind yesterday’s (January 27) Facebook and Instagram outage.
In a new message to the hackers, Swift made a pun on one of her songs by tweeting: “Cause the hackers gonna hack, hack, hack, hack, hack…” and thanked Paramore’s Hayley Williams for alerting her to the strange tweets coming from her account. She added: “PS any hackers saying they have ‘nudes’? Psssh you’d love that wouldn’t you! Have fun photoshopping cause you got NOTHING.”

Yesterday, it was reported that Taylor Swift’s ‘Shake It Off’ was disqualified from Australian radio station Triple J’s Hottest 100 chart after an online campaign by fans of the pop star backfired. The influence of the prominent hashtag #Tay4Hottest100 was thought to be too much of an influence by the station.
