Taylor Swift celebrated the 4th of July yesterday with friends including Este Haim, Cara Delevingne and Blake Lively.
Orange Is The New Black actresses Uzo Aduba and Ruby Rose, Paper Towns star Halston Sage, ‘Fight Song’ singer Rachel Platten and models Karlie Kloss and Gigi Hadid also appear in an Instagram picture Swift shared to mark Independence Day.
People reports that Swift threw a 4th of July party at her home in Rhode Island yesterday which was attended by members of her so-called squad and her rumoured new boyfriend Tom Hiddleston.
Rumours of Swift’s and Hiddleston’s romance began last month (June), with The Sun reporting that the pair have been involved in a “secret romance”. The newspaper published a picture of the pair kissing on a Rhode Island beach. She had split up with Calvin Harris two weeks prior.
Meanwhile, Swift has joined Paul McCartney in petitioning for reform of the The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) in order to secure greater protection for songwriters against copyright infringement.
The singer is reported to be “horrified” by Kanye West’s recently-released video for his track ‘Famous’. The clip features wax figures of naked celebrities laying in bed, including Swift, George W. Bush, West, Kim Kardashian West, Amber Rose, Rihanna, Chris Brown, Caitlyn Jenner, Bill Cosby, Donald Trump, Anna Wintour and Ray J.
