The clip is the latest in the streaming service’s new advertising campaign. Previous commercials have seen Swift rapping along to Drake and Future’s ‘Jumpman’ before falling off a treadmill and singing along to Jimmy Eat World’s ‘The Middle’. Jimmy Eat World later praised Swift following the clip. Meanwhile, sales of the Drake and Future track jumped by 431% on iTunes thanks to Swift’s commercial.
This new advert sees Swift dancing around her house to the British glam-rock band’s 2003 hit. A caption reads: “Dance like no one’s watching”. Watch the clip below.
Last year, Swift called out Apple Music over the royalties they pay artists before reconciling with the company and sharing her ‘1989’ album via the streaming service. She also exclusively released her ‘1989 World Tour Live’ film via the platform.
Apple Music launched in June 2015 and recently surpassed 11 million subscribers. The streaming service simultaneously launched in over 100 countries, and while Spotify remains the market leader in terms of subscribers, the service has made rapid inroads in signing up paid listeners.
