Swift's '1989' world tour arrived in Houston last night

Wiz Khalifa has become the latest big name artist to make a guest appearance on Taylor Swift’s world tour.

Rapper Khalifa joined Swift in Houston, Texas last night (September 9) and performed his single ‘See You Again’ with the pop star. Swift sang the song’s chorus, originally recorded by Charlie Puth.

Introducing her guest to the stage, Swift told the Minute Maid Park audience that she is “obsessed” with Khalifa. Adding: “He’s so incredibly talented and when he came out a few years ago it was so undeniable. He’s known for just being a good guy, a good person and having incredible music.

Khalifa joins a long list of musicians and other famous faces who have joined Taylor Swift on stage during the US leg of her ‘1989’ world tour. Other recent guests on the tour have included Alanis Morissette, Avril Lavigne, Little Mix, Beck, St Vincent and actress Lisa Kudrow.

Meanwhile, Taylor Swift recently the most popular person on Instagram with over 45 million followers.

The pop star reached the landmark point yesterday (September 8) when she clocked up 45.7 million followers. The figure took her past Kim Kardashian (45.6 million followers), who herself had only recently taken the title from Beyoncé.

Swift has yet to address her new status as Instagram’s most popular.
