TEENAGE FANCLUB are to headline part of the Hogmanay celebrations in GLASGOW.

The band will be warming up revellers in the city on New Year’s Eve with an hour-long set taking them up to just before the bells ring out to see in 2001.

They are to headline the Main Stage, situated at Trongate in the city. Other acts on the stage include Zuba, Kinetic, Glasgow Gospel Choir and Gary Mullen, who won ‘Stars In Their Eyes’ as Freddie Mercury.

The Red Not Bed Dance Stage will feature DJ sets from Twitch and Jonnie Wilkes from Optimo, Dominic and Harri from Subculture, DJ Q from Filter Records and Oscar from Mish Mash.

Additionally, there will be a World Party Stage, featuring Fannies affiliates Radio Sweethearts, whose Francis MacDonald is sometime TFC sticksman, Shaboom, Latin Lovers and Dochas.
