The alternative Scottish band’s last studio album, ‘Here’, was released in 2016. It followed 2010’s ‘Shadows’.

Now, the group have announced that they are re-visiting LPs they released from 1991-2000.

On August 10, they’ll re-release the Creation Records albums ‘Bandwagonesque’, ‘Thirteen’, ‘Grand Prix’, ‘Songs From Northern Britain’ and ‘Howdy!’ They were re-mastered for the first time by the band at the iconic Abbey Road Studios.

Fans will also receive a special 7″ with each record, with each vinyl containing previously-unheard material.

What’s more, Teenage Fanclub will perform three-night runs of shows in Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham and London – celebrating different eras of their career each night. The tour kicks off in Glasgow on October 28, before coming to an end at Camden’s Electric Ballroom in November.

The ‘Songs From Teenage Fanclub’ stint will see performances of tracks from 91-93 on ‘Night 1’, from 94-97 on ‘Night 2’ and from 98-00 on ‘Night 3’. Tickets go on sale on April 27th.

A scuzzy, 90s-style trailer has been released too. Check it out above.
