It's out this Friday..
US rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine has confirmed that Nicki Minaj and Kanye West will be providing some high-profile guest spots on his forthcoming album.
The controversial ‘Gummo’ star last week announced that his debut ‘Dummy Boy’ will arrive on November 23. As he made the announcement, he also angrily revealed that he had sacked his manager and publicist, accusing them of stealing from him.
He’s now unveiled the tracklisting for the forthcoming record – and it’s littered with appearances by Minaj and West. Minaj appears on the previously released ‘Fefe’, as well as ‘Mama’ – which also features an appearance from West. Meanwhile, West also appears on ‘Feefa’.
Earlier this month, the rapper filmed the video for ‘Mama’ with Minaj and West in Los Angeles. The shoot was marred by controversy when it became targeted by a drive-by shooting. According to TMZ, police were called on November 10 after crew members heard shots fired. A source claimed that 8 shots had been fired, although no injuries were reported after a bullet allegedly went through a bedroom window.
West and 6ix9ine were on set at the time but Minaj had not yet arrived. Production was halted and West swiftly left the property.
Last month, 6ix9ine‘s bodyguard was reportedly shot during the rapper’s post-sentencing dinner in New York.
6ix9ine had appeared in court for violating the terms of a plea agreement related to a 2015 sex crime case involving a child. While he avoided prison time, he was given an extra four years of probation. He also won’t need to register as a sex offender.
After the hearing, the rapper headed to a dinner celebration. However, during the meal, his bodyguard – who was standing outside the restaurant – was reportedly shot four times.
The rapper also recently took a plea deal after assaulting a police officer.
