The 1975 appeared on this weekend’s episode of US TV’s Saturday Night Live.
The band were introduced by guest host and Curb Your Enthusiasm star Larry David, and performed their recent singles ‘Love Me’ and ‘The Sound’.
The British band release second album ‘I Like It When You Sleep For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware Of It’ later this month (February 26), following on from their 2013 debut ‘The 1975’.

Frontman Matt Healy recently told NME he believes “the world needs” the band’s imminent new album.
The frontman admits that the ambitious nature of the band’s new album could prove a stumbling block but that he couldn’t have made the album any other way. “I’m challenging people to sit through an hour and 15 minutes and 17 songs that all sound completely different from each other,” he admits. “It’s quite an emotional investment. It’s art. It’s what I want to do. The world needs this album.”
