Band release new album in February

The 1975 have unveiled a new track, entitled ‘The Sound’.

The song was premiered on Annie Mac’s Radio 1 show on Thursday night (January 14). Listen below.

‘The Sound’ is lifted from the band’s upcoming second album ‘I Like It When You Sleep For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware Of It’, which will be released on February 26 and follows their 2013 debut ‘The 1975.’

The band previously released singles ‘Love Me’ and ‘Ugh!’.

The 1975 will play a series of UK tour dates in March. See the full dates beneath.

The band will begin their 2016 tour with three nights at London’s O2 Academy Brixton starting on March 7. They will then play dates in Manchester and Glasgow before the run of gigs ends in Birmingham at the Barclaycard Arena on March 22.

The 1975 will play the following live dates:

London, O2 Academy Brixton (March 7-9)
Manchester, O2 Apollo (March 13-15)
Glasgow, O2 Academy (March 18-19)
Birmingham, Barclaycard Arena (March 22)
