The 1975 tackle recent controversies in new video for ‘Love It If We Made It’ and announce new tour dates

Album three is also almost upon us too

The 1975 have shared a new video and announced a huge North American tour featuring Pale Waves and No Rome in 2019.

The clip for ‘Love It If We Made It’, which you can watch below, features images of recent controversies surrounding figures such as Harvey Weinstein and Brett Kavanaugh.

The band also shared news on Twitter that they will be embarking on a 22 date jaunt which will take in shows in Las Vegas, Seattle, Chicago, Canada and Mexico with the first show kicking off on March 20 in Auditoro Telmex. Tickets go on sale at 10am local time in North America on October 25 and at 11am local time in Mexico on October 27. You can view the full list of tour dates below.

The announcement comes after frontman Matty Healy recently teased that the band would be playing some “very very small shows” soon in the UK.

The lead singer took to Twitter to announce the forthcoming gigs but with frustratingly few details.

It is likely that these intimate shows will be a chance for the band to try out new music ahead of their huge arena tour.

They will hit the road next January for shows at some of the country’s biggest venues – including London’s O2 Arena. Support on that tour also comes from Pale Waves and No Rome.
