The 1975 kicked off their 2017 UK tour with a mammoth homecoming show at Manchester Arena. See photos, footage and the setlist below.
Matty Healy and co returned to their native Manchester for the first night of their victory lap tour to seal off the year for the campaign for their NME Album Of The Year, I Like It When You Sleep, for You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware of It.
Supported by the brilliant, fresh future star of 2017 Japanese House, the band took to the stage complete with their most ambitious live show to date – decked out with stunning screen, lights and lasers.
From thereon, they tore through an impressive 24-song set with Healy on the finest of form as a charismatic frontman, as the band played huge singles and fan favourites from both albums – as well as deeper cuts and rarities such as ‘Milk’ and ‘Undo’.
The tour continues on to London, Newcastle, Glasgow, Bournemouth and Cardiff.
