The Beach Boys’ Brian Wilson to tour UK with Edwyn Collins

The singer releases new album 'No Pier Pressure' in April

The Beach Boys‘ Brian Wilson has announced a UK tour.

Ahead of his new album release next month, the legendary songwriter has unveiled a series of live dates for September. The stint will see Wilson stop off in Liverpool, Cardiff, London, Birmingham, Nottingham, Leeds, Manchester and Glasgow.

Brian Wilson will be supported on the tour by Edwyn Collins and America.

Wilson’s new album ‘No Pier Pressure’ will be released April 7 via Capitol Records. The album features duets with a variety of artists including She & Him’s Zooey Deschanel, Simonian, Kacey Musgraves and Fun’s Nate Reuss.

Last month, Wilson released a video for new song ‘The Right Time’, which features guest spots from fellow Beach Boys Al Jardine and David Marks. Both Jardine and Marks will feature on a number of other tracks on the forthcoming album.
