The fortune of the late Beatles George Harrison will be split between his family, charities and the HARE KRISHNA religious group, a report has claimed.
The majority of his assets, thought to be valued in the region of £200 million, will go to his wife Olivia and son Dhani, claims a report in this morning’s New York Post newspaper.
Up to 10% is likely to go to the Hare Krishna movement, which George Harrison was actively involved in throughout much of his adult life, while other, smaller contributions will go to charities across the world.
Fans are starting to gather in Liverpool, where a candlelit vigil will take place at 6pm this evening. A worldwide moment of meditation in honour of George Harrison is scheduled for 9.30pm this evening (December 3).
