THE BEATLES will have a new – and final – single released later this year, according to The Sun.
The story in today’s paper reports that the surviving Beatles have unearthed a lost track recorded at Abbey Road in 1968 for ‘Yellow Submarine’. The song will be issued in its original form unlike ‘Real Love’ and ‘Free As A Bird’, which took Lennon‘s vocals and constructed new songs around them.
The song – untitled in the report – features Lennon on vocals.
The paper also claims that the remaining Beatles will play an outdoor show as part of a revival dubbed the Beatlennium project.
