Last remaining Bee Gees to play live

Robin and Barry Gibb reveal they are planning gigs

The Bee GeesRobin and Barry Gibb – the last surviving members of the band – have revealed they are planning live dates.

They have not performed since the death of their bandmate and brother Maurice Gibb in 2003, but Robin (pictured right), speaking on BBC Radio’s Test Match Special cricket programme, said the time would soon be right to take to the stage again.

“The two of us are getting back together again as we speak,” he said.

Speaking about the loss of Maurice, he said he had lost “not just a brother but a comrade in arms really. It’s an emotional thing when you lose someone that close”.

The brothers are yet to reveal details of their live plans.
