The Bees to release new single

They team up with California quartet The Mother Hips

The Bees (known as A Band Of Bees in the US) have announced the release of a new single.

The Isle of Wight band have teamed up with California rockers The Mother Hips to release a 7″ vinyl split single featuring two new tracks.

The single, due out in the US on April 22, features The Bees‘Papa Echo’ — the band’s first studio recording singe 2007’s ‘Octopus’.

It also features ‘Kiss The Crystal Flake’, a new track by The Mother Hips.

In addition to releasing the single on vinyl, the bands plan to make it available as a digital download. The date has not yet been announced.

The Bees are currently working on a new full-length album in their home studio and are gearing up for a handful of UK dates.
