Big Pink’s ‘Dominos’ voted Best Track at Shockwaves NME Awards

Band win ahead of Arctic Monkeys and Florence And The Machine

The Big Pink‘s ‘Dominos’ has been voted Best Track at the Shockwaves NME Awards.

The song was given the nod tonight (February 24) ahead of competition from Arctic Monkeys and Florence And The Machine.

“Table 15 we love you! And anyone who voted!” yelled Milo Cordell as he grasped the trophy, with singer Robbie Furze carrying live drummer Akiko Matsuuru on his shoulders.

The prize was awarded at London‘s O2 Academy Brixton by guest presenter Little Boots and actor Russell Tovey.

The other nominations in the Best Track category were:

Animal Collective – ‘My Girls’
Arctic Monkeys – ‘Crying Lightning’
Florence And The Machine – ‘Rabbit Heart (Raise It Up)’
Jamie T – ‘Sticks N’ Stones’
