The Black Lips announce new tour dates

Atlanta band head out this fall

The Black Lips have announced the initial dates of a tour of the US, kicking off October 2 at Solana Beach, CA.

In the meantime, the band will play two shows tomorrow (August 1) in Chicago – first in the early afternoon at Lollapalooza in Grant Park and later that night they will play a show at the Empty Bottle.

The band will then head for New York for a free show at McCarren Pool as part of Jelly NYC’s free Sunday shows series. As previously reported, last Sunday’s free MGMT show proved so popular that the pool was almost at capacity for openers The Ting Tings, with thousands more waiting in line.
