THE BLUETONES return with a new single, ‘KEEP THE HOME FIRES BURNING’ on February 21 through Superior Quality Recordings.

This will be the first single taken from the band’s forthcoming third album, ‘Science & Nature’, out in May, and is backed by four brand new b-sides. One of these, ‘Armageddon (Outta Here)’, features a comic speaking part from Matt Lucas, aka George Dawes.

To coincide with the single, The Bluetones will be touring the UK. They will play Edinburgh Liquid Rooms (February 21), Cambridge Junction (22), Bristol UNI Anson Rooms (23), London Shepherds Bush Empire (25), Liverpool L2 (26) and Sheffield University SU (27).

Fans will also get the chance to meet the band at a series of in-store appearance on the tour. These will be at Glasgow Virgin (February 21, 1pm), Cambridge Jays (23, 1pm), Bristol Virgin (23, 1pm), London Piccadilly Virgin (24, 5.30pm), Sheffield Record Collector (27, 2.30pm).
