And tickets are only available through the band's website...

THE CHARLATANS will give fans a chance to hear tracks from their forthcoming new album when they play two exclusive LONDON shows in May.

Tim Burgess and the boys will perform songs from ‘Up At The Lake’ at the Islington Carling Academy on May 3-4.

According to a statement on the band’s official website [url=] “The band will be playing a unique set, which will be made up extensively if not exclusively of tracks from the new album. The set will be quite different from the main set that will be played on the main UK Tour.”

Tickets will be priced at £19.50 plus a £2.50 booking fee, although initially they will only be available through the band’s website.

The statement adds: “It is highly unlikely that they will go on sale to the general public.”
