THE CHARLATANS are to play a secret gig to warm-up for V2001 at the SHEFFIELD LEADMILL, NME.COM can reveal.

The band, whose only UK show so far this year was a low-key gig at Wrexham Central Station last month (June 28), will perform a set on August 16 at the Sheffield venue. Tickets are priced £16.50.

Any fans wishing to go to the show can purchase tickets via the band’s official website at Any remaining tickets will go on sale to the general public next Monday (July 23).

The Charlatans are already confirmed to appear at V2001, which takes place at Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Stafford over the weekend of August 18-19.
