The Charlatans announce North American tour and new album release date

'Who We Touch' is due out on September 14

The Charlatans have announced details of the North American release date of their new album ‘Who We Touch’.

Due out on September 14 through The End Records, the group’s eleventh studio effort will be released in the UK on September 6.

Produced by Youth, who has worked with the likes of Killing Joke, Primal Scream and Paul McCartney, the 10-track LP will be preceded by the single ‘Love Is Ending’.

“We told Youth we wanted the record to have the sound of a European winter,” frontman Tim Burgess said in a statement. “With that fresh, crisp sound you get from some British records, but also something fearless that was quite far-reaching, to challenge ourselves – a real journey.”

Meanwhile, the band have revealed that they will embark on a 14-date tour of North America in September, beginning in Atlanta, Georgia on September 7 and concluding in Los Angeles, California on September 22.
