The Chemical Brothers are set to launch a new club night in west London later this year.
However, despite reports elsewhere that the club, to be called Glint, would open in the Ladbroke Grove area of west London during October, a spokesperson for the pair told nme.com that nothing had been decided yet.
“I know they have been talking about the club and yes it will probably be called Glint and yes it will be in west London somewhere, but apart from that nothing is certain,” she said.
She added that due to the limited size the club will probably be, a capacity of 150 had been mooted, it was unlikely that much of a fanfare would surround any opening. “It will probably be a word of mouth thing,” she explained.
The Chemical Brothers are likely to be sometime residents in the club. They famously played as residents at the Heavenly Sunday Social at Turnmills during the recording of second album ‘Dig Your Own Hole’ several years ago.
At present, the duo are said to working on sessions for their fourth album, the follow-up to ‘Surrender’, in their south London studio.
