Unreleased live tracks feature on new album and DVD

A host of rare and unreleased tracks by The Clash are set to be released on October 6.

A live album – recorded when the band supported The Who at Shea Stadium in 1982 – features The Clash‘s entire 15-track set at the legendary venue.

Also released on October 6 is ‘The Clash Live – Revolution Rock’ – a DVD with over 20 performances stretching right across the group’s career.

Directed by long-term collaborator Don Letts, the DVD has seven unreleased performances by the band, including their appearance on ‘The Tomorrow Show With Tom Snyder’ in 1981.

Details about a new book about the band have been released too.

Authorised book ‘The Clash By The Clash’ will hit bookshelves on October 3.

The book has been compiled from extensive interviews with Joe Strummer, Mick Jones, Paul Simonon and Topper Headon.
